Mr. Charlie Javon Donwell's Obituary
Charlie Javon Donwell was born to Patricia Ann Merriweather and Charlie Earl Powell on May 17, 1993 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He confessed and accepted Christ at an early age. He was an active member of Community Outreach Church.
Charlie graduated from Southeast High School in 2011. Upon graduating high school, he joined the United States Army where he was stationed in Hawaii. He toured in Kuwait bringing back fallen soldiers to their families. He was a hardworking dedicated man who strived to be the best he could be. He always had a smile on his face no matter the situation.
Charlie leaves to cherish his lifetime of memories to his wife Callie Marie Donwell; daughter, Carlie Ann Marie Donwell and a son, Charlie Javon Donwell, Jr.; a loving a dedicated mother, Patricia Ann Merriweather; father, Charlie Earl Powell; stepfather, Samuel Merriweather; stepmother, Shelia Powell; (6) brothers, Edgar Ladarius Tavon Donwell (Hannah) of Edmond, OK, Henry Kelly, Jr., Cardarius R. Powell, Charlie E. Powell, Cordarrion Z. Powell and Demon Shaw; (10) sisters, Latrevia Sade Donwell, Caporsche Randle, Cardashia Randle, Talissa Luckey, Danquasha Hampton, Charlecia Powell, Cartaezia Powell, Tamara Gillespie, Simone Jones, Henbria Kelly and Kiamber Hall, all from Meridian, MS; a very special ride or die friend since 7th grade, Tevin Cole; also 5 aunts, Lisa Collins, Veronica Walker, Valeria Donwell, Brandy Randle and Sharon Seals; 5 uncles, Charles Randle, David Lee Randle, Marlin Randle, Robert Powell and Rodney Powell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Charlie was preceded in death by (2) grandfathers, Edgar Donwell and Robert Powell and a grandmother, Linda Faye Powell and a host of other relatives.
