Mrs. Cheryl Dianne Mathis' Obituary
Cheryl Dianne Mathis, 72, of Meridian passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019 at Anderson’s Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 16, 1947 to Thomas C. and Catherine Nichols in Meridian, MS
Dianne is survived by two sons, Billy Ray Mathis, Jr and James Mathis (Tricia) and one daughter Sheila Speed (Mike), all of Meridian. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren; Joseph Mathis (Priscilla), Jacob Mathis (Kayla), Paul Dutton (Melissa), Candace Coleman, Cayla Coleman-Ellis (Josh), Ashley Goodin (Dillon), Jeremy Mathis and 13 great-grandchildren.
Sisters, Ruth Boykin (Johnny), Tommie Hagwood (Bobby), Faye Fuller (Donnie), Donna Miller and Robin Warren. Brothers, Ronald Warren (Sue) and Michael Warren (Renee) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas C. and Catherine Nichols, brothers, Gerald Warren and Ron Chatham, grandson, Thomas Mathis and great-grandson, Cameron Johnson.
Graveside service will be held at Meridian Memorial Cemetery, Hwy 80 W., Monday, Nov. 4th at 1:30 pm with Dewayne Boykin officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Joseph Mathis, Jacob Mathis, Jeremy Mathis, Paul Dutton, Robby Warren and Scottie Fuller and Chad Fuller as honorary pallbearer.
