Mr. Chris Irby's Obituary
On July 22, 1914 Sam and Flora Walk Irby were blessed with a son Chris. He became a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. As a young man he married the love of his lie, Ms. Daisy Lee Hudson. and to that union were born six children. He was employed with the Meridian stock yard and Martin & Martin Logging Company over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife. Daisy Lee Hudson Irby. Four sisters; Creasie M. Reed. Verda M. Irby. Junie M. Newell, and Rena Irby. Two brothers; A.J. & Cemiah Irby. One daughter, Brenda A. Irby. Len to cherish his memories are three daughters: FIora Irby, Sandusky, OH; Sandra Irby. and Deloris (Paul) Robinson .. Meridian, MS. two sons: Danny lrby, Moss Point, MS and Gary (MiMi) Irby, San Diego. CA. Two Brothers: Chester and Neamiah Irby. Meridian, MS. Fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend J. Lee Newell.
