Mrs. Christine Burton's Obituary
On June 20, 1933, Christine Burton was born to the late Ella Roberts and Leon Burton in Porterville, MS. She departed this world on Friday, April 26, 2019. she was a devoted mother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roosevelt Brown and sister, Rebecca Clark.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters: Elizabeth Burton, Marie Burton, Joanna Johnson, all of Meridian, MS; Peggy McDonald of Georgia; three son: Ray Charles Burton of Texas; Eddie Johnson of Texas; Harry Johnson of Meridian; 17 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
