Mr. Clarence Carlisle's Obituary
Clarence Carlisle was born February 16, 1938 to the late George and Inez Simpson Carlisle. He departed this life on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Queen City Nursing Home.
At an early age, Clarence joined Shiloh Baptist Church. Later in life, he joined St. Mary Baptist Church where he remained a member until his health failed.
Clarence worked at Mississippi Industries for the Blind for approximately twenty years until his retirement. His most enjoyable moments were attending softball games, sitting on his daughter’s front porch fellowshipping with family and friends, and enjoying life with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memories, a loving daughter, Janice Carlisle , a stepson, Clarence Lee (Lasena) Clark; both of Meridian, MS; three grandchildren, Charles (Shalonda) Carlisle of Pushmataha, AL; Jessica (Ike) Turner and Tyrone Carlisle, of Meridian, MS; four great-grandchildren; two special friends, Junior C. Bell and Glen Randle, both of Meridian, MS, and a host of other relatives and friends.
