Mrs. Clementine "Tina" Dozier's Obituary
Clementine "Tina" Dozier was born in Meridian, Mississippi on June 15, 1951. She was the oldest of three children born from the union of the late Leonard Jordan, Sr. and Ida Mae Jordan. At a tender age Tina met and fell in love with Fred Dozier. She left her classmates behind (Class of 1969) and started a family. Tina and Fred Lee Dozier were united in holy matrimony August, 21, 1968. To this union was born Darrell Dewayne Dozier. After some time with baby Darrell, Tina returned to the classroom and graduated from Meridian High School in 1972. Tina accepted Christ at an early and was a faithful and devoted member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church until God called her home. She was employed by WQIC Radio thirteen years. For the past twenty-eight years she has served as executive assistant to the superintendent(s) of the Meridian Public School District. Tina was preceded in death by her father Mr. Leonard Jordan, Sr. and two sisters, Mary Carter and Verna Mae Compton.
Tina leaves to cherish her memory, a faithful, loving and devoted husband, Fred Lee Dozier; a son Darrell (Shandra) of Flowood, MS.; her mother, Ida Mae Jordan of Meridian, MS; one brother, Leonard(Leslie) Jordan, Jr. of Diamondhead, MS; One sister, Linda Faye Jordan of Meridian, MS. Six grandchildren-Darius, Octavia, Brittany, T'Naizha, Darrien and Gabrielle; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, her Meridian Public School District family and her Mount Olive Church family.
