Mrs. Coran Johnson's Obituary
Mrs. Coran Brown Johnson was born to Mr. Elijah Brown & Mrs. Hannah Ramsey Brown on March 31, 1922 in Daleville, MS. During Coran lifetime she was a homemaker and kept many children. She was an avid fisherman and was good at it and really enjoyed. Coran Brown Johnson united with the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at any early age where she remain there until her health began to fell and she was very faithful to her church. She was married to the John L. Johnson May 22, 1946 to this union three children was born; Edward Charles Johnson, John Willie Johnson and Linda Kay Johnson Kelley. Preceded in death: by her husband, Mr. John L. Johnson, her parents; Hannah & Elijah Brown, one son Edward Charles Johnson three sisters and six brothers.
Coran departed this life on November 3, 2019. Coran leaves to cherish her memories; one son; John Johnson (Mary Jo), a daughter; Linda Kelley (Mitchell), a daughter-n-law Carol Johnson all of Meridian, MS; a brother Curtis Brown, New York; Grandchildren Shinque Harris, Alexis & Allen Kelley, Darrion Radcliff, Ryan Kennedy, and Gavin Johnson; one cousin Vella Cole and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
