Corey JaVon Moss, Jr. was born on March 19, 2003 to the proud parents of LaKisha Person and Corey Moss, Sr.
he accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Savannah Grove Baptist Church. He was a Senior at Northeast Lauderdale High School. He played football and always had a smile that was contagious to brighten up everyone’s day. You couldn’t help but keep a smile on your face around him because his personality was one of a kind.
Corey answered the call of God to move from his earthly home to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS.
Corey leaves to cherish his memory and honor his legacy: his parents, LaKisha Person and Corey Moss, Sr,; his two (2) lovely sisters: Myeisha Moss and TaKayla Person both of Meridian, MS; grandmothers, Edna Person of Meridian, MS and Diann Lucky Moss of Huntsville, AL; grandfathers, Aaron Adams of Meridian, MS; and Edward Charles Moss Sr, of Butler, AL; five (5) aunts: Rosie Brown, Virginia Person and Chaney McShane of Meridian, MS; Daphne Moss Robinson of Savannah, GA, and April Moss of Huntsville, AL; four (4) uncles: Dan Person and Calvin Person of Meridian, MS, Edward Charles Moss, Jr. of Anniston, AL and ToMorris Robinson of Savannah, GA; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
