Mr. Curtis L. Brown's Obituary
Mr. Curtis Lee "Curt" Brown Sr., son of the late Oscar and *Hertisene Brown was born October 31, 1937 in Collinsville, Mississippi. He was oldest of five children: Fred Brown, Effie Burrage, Henry Brown, and Willie Mae Lard. At an early age, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church where he was a dedicated member. He· was united in holy matrimony to Idell Dubose on July 3, 1959. This union was blessed with three children. Curt was employed with "Dicky Clay Manufacturing Company" and "Allied Systems". After retirement, he continued his passion of farming, raising livestock, logging and anything that need fixing. He quietly departed this life Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Anderson Regional Hospital with his wife and children by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother (Fred). His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Curtis (Rosemary) Brown Jr, Kenneth (Chan) Brown, and Anthony (Yoko) Brown of Alabaster, Alabama; grandchildren; Marcus Brown, Kendra Brown, Jasmine Brown, Aidan Brown, Anthony Barganier and Angelique Barganier; his siblings and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
