Mr. Damian Devon Barfield's Obituary
Damian Barfield ('Petey') entered this world April 10, 1994. He was gifted by God to be the son of Michael and Ada Barfield. As a young boy Damian enjoyed playing baseball. When he attended Northeast Middle School he also played football. He graduated from Meridian High School in 2013. His favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs. He was employed with Magnolia Beverage Company. He loved his parents. He also loved his mother's cooking. His favorite dish was Chicken and Dressing which she always gladly prepared with love for her first born son. He also loved his grandmother, MaryAnn Shelton and wanted to be an entreprenuer like his Uncle Buddy Shelton. He loved his Aunt Lisa Shelton too, even though she would always stay on him and try to keep him on the right path. His favorite colors were red and black. He is preceeded into eternity by his Father, Michael Barfield, his Grand Father-Willie Bolden, his Great-Grandmother, Elizabeth McWilliams, and Great-Grandfather, Ernest McWilliams. His legacy continues through his younger brother, Aden Deshon Clark, his two daughters, Dlannie Barfield (Mother-Hallie Tucker) and Dnyala Barfield (Mother-Hanna Smith) both to whom he was a wonderful father. His memory will last forever in their hearts and in the hearts of his Mother-Ada Evette, His Grandmother, Lanie M. Bolden wbo loved him fearlessly and spoiled him by giving him his heart's desire, his Aunt, Julia Wallace, who was a second mother to him and Grandmother, Mary Ann Shelton, along with uncles, close friends and many cousins who he loved like his own blood brothers and sisters. He was very close to his cousin Gloria Bass, who always had an encouraging word to share with him to uplift his spirits during difficult times.
