Mr. Damien Maquell Jackson's Obituary
On November 3, 1997, a beautiful son Damien Maquell Jackson was born to the union of Frederick A. and Miranda A. Jackson. Damien arrival was a blessing and he grew into a loving son. He attended Northeast Lauderdale High School. He accepted Christ at an early age and was affiliated with Anderson Temple Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Superintendent George Murray. He later moved his membership to Nicholson Temple Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Willie Clark where he remained a member until his untimely death. Damien will be remembered as a funny and caring person who would help anyone. He departed this life Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Rush Foundation Hospital. Damien leaves to cherish in his memory: his parents, Frederick and Miranda Jackson; one sister, Jasmine Jackson; two brothers, Jarvis and Zyan Jackson; two grandmothers, Bessie Smith and Freddie Mae Jackson, one grandfather, J. C. Jackson and a host of uncles and aunts, Dominick and Rakia Jackson, Rev. T. C. and Laura Johnson, Rev. Jimmie and Annie Dubose, Myrtle Coleman, Vicki Smith and Daree Stapleton all of Meridian, MS, Glenda and Charles Hudson of DeKalb, MS, Eartha L. McCallum of Lauderdale, MS, Arma Lee Richardson, Annie Pearl Thames of Dayton, Ohio, Calvin and Juanita Williams of Philadelphia, MS, Lerickco, Katisha (baby cousin, Elijah Tooles, Jaboie Jackson, other cousins and friends.
