Mr. Danny Earl Irby's Obituary
Danny Earl Irby (Gob) was born on February 25, 1964, in Meridian, Mississippi, to John and Mary Irby. At a very young age he accepted God as his Lord and Savior. Danny attended Meridian Public School and later received his GED. Danny had a special trade in brick masonry and enjoyed landscaping on the side. Danny was very outspoken. He loved God. He loved his family, all the people he grew up with and especially his nieces. He would always stay on them about getting good grades, being smart in school and the importance of going to college. Danny dedicated his last few years taking care of our family home and his dog King. Danny E. Irby, 59 years of age of Meridian, MS succumbed to his death on October 2, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memories to seven siblings, John Irby, James (Diane) Irby, Darrell Irby, Brent Nelson, Gayle Irby, Jackie (LaKeira) Irby and Rodriques (Kenjuana) Hopson, and Childhood friend Rodney Gulley. Four aunts Lillie Mae Nelson, JoAnn Bailey, Bertha Moss and Darlene Robinson; Two uncles: Mank Bourrage and James Moss. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Irby, grandparents Jack and Jessie Mae Sears, and Mary Alice Moss, Grady McCray, Herbert Bourrage and two siblings Andre and Adolphus Irby.
