Mr. Darrell Christopher Aikens' Obituary
Darrell Christopher "Chris" Aikens was the third child born to Annie E. Aikens and J.C. Bourrage, on October 5, 1978, in Meridian, MS. He joined Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and was active in Sunday School and other youth activities. Chris attended West Lauderdale Elementary School and West Lauderdale High School in Collinsville, MS. He was loved by the young and the old, and was lovingly called " Stank" by many of his friends. Chris loved to hunt and fish. Chris was preceded in death by his father the late J.C Bourrage, his grandfather the late Ray Bourrage and Grandparents the late Ernest and Callie Trussell. Chris was also preceeded in death by his uncle the late Ernest Trussell Jr. Chris is survived by his loving mother, Annie E. Aikens, two brothers, Steve Aikens and Anthony Aikens, all of Bailey, MS, and one sister Sharon Bourrage, and her daughter, Dimitria, both of Meridian, MS, A Niece Anneisha Aikens, of Meridian, MS. Three uncles: Edward Eugene Trussell and Odell Trussell both of Bailey,; MS and Thomas "Tom" Trussell, of Los Angeles, CA. Grandmother, Viola Bourrage of Meridian, MS, Four aunts: Gwendolyn Bourrage, Mary Bourrage, Alice Hersey, and Edna (Earl) Hudson all of Meridian, MS.
