Mr. David Wright's Obituary
David Wright was born to Abe and Rosetta Ware-Wright on June 22, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN David was the second born child and his sibilings who all preceded him in death were: Clarence (Vietnam Veteran) Jeanette (Denever, CO) and Jessie May (Chattanooga, TN). Davidtransitonedfrom this life on August 2,2021. David attended public schools in Chattanooga, TN where he exceled in sports (especially basketball). David departed Chattanooga when he was 19 years old seeking a better life. David's first job in Michigan was working at the State Mental Health facility as a cook and janitor. David began his employment at General Motors in 1968 and retired after 30 years in 1998. After retirement David relocated south and worked many part-time jobs, with his Medicaid Driver position being his favorite. David leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 42 years, Mary Alice Wright, their children Jermaine Wright (Michigan) and Eboni Wright-Hayes (Craig) (Mississippi), David Wright Jr. and Clarence Wright from a previous marriage; five Grandchildren; Kean Bell, Javon Wright, Kien Wrtight, Jardan Wright, and one princess, Skylar Hayes; his loving mother-in-law, Maxine Lewis (Michigan); Brother-in-laws, Bobby Lang (Michigan), Robert Lewis ( Michigan), Gregory Bradley (California), and David Brown (Alabama); Sister-in-laws, Ruby Taylor {Alabama), Marie Bradley (Greg) (California), Virgina Lewis (Michigan), Patricia Horne (Vernon) (Mississippi), Helen Brown {Michigan) and Monique Brown (Mississippi). A host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends whom he loved very much. A close General Motors Buddy Lorenzo Rose (Michigan).
