A day doesn't go by that I don't think of You. I miss You. Continue to rest well my third born.
My name is Ronnie Charles Blair, Sr., Dawanda's first stepfather. I married her mother Sharon Griffin in Las Vegas on February 2, 1981 when she was 2-years old just months before her 3rd birthday in April of that year. After getting married that day her mother and I called our families back home in Meridian, Mississippi with the news. Not long afterwards this little two year old and her 5-year sister, Tasha Griffin started saying to everyone that met these word: "Guess what?". And the person would say, "What?". "We got a brand new daddy." I fell in love with Dawanda (and her older sister, Tasha) from that day to this one. She was the cutest little thing that you ever seen. She had these cute eyes, this unique walk and say the funniest things. In the early 1990's I was a Greyhound Bus Driver. I had a route between New Orleans and Atlanta. Dawanda and some of my other kids would ride with me. She was the only one who had a interest in my job. Dawanda volunteered to get my paperwork ready for trips so that I can enough rest to drive the next day. That's my girl. Even though she drifted away from me over the years she was ALWAYS ON MY MIND AND IN MY HEART.
