Mrs. Debora Ellis Bolden's Obituary
On March 12th, 1957, a baby girl was born to the late Lillie M. Ellis and the late Robert Ellis, in Meridian, MS.
Debora (Peanut) Elaine Ellis-Bolden, age 61, of Meridian, MS transition peacefully to her eternal rest early Monday morning, December 31st, 2018 in the comfort of her son, Christopher (Wayne) Risbys home in Cleveland, MS.
She joined Greater Calvary Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, under the leadership of Reverend J.W. Perrien. She was a faithful member until her health began to fail her.
Peanut had so much love for kids and everyone she came in contact with. Peanut’s love was unconditional.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her only son and son-in-law; Christopher (Wayne) Rigsby of Cleveland, MS. Two sisters, Shirleen Jordan of Sandusky, OH and Kendra Ellis of Omaha, Nebraska and three great nephews, whom she cared for dearly. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, who loved her dearly and she loved unconditionally.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, Debora was preceded in death by four brothers: Fred Johnson Jr., Samuel Johnson, Houston Johnson, and Robert Charles Ellis; two sisters: Mirleen Ellis and Maggie Clay and one niece: Timeki Clay.
