Mrs. Debra Michele Colton's Obituary
Debra Michelle King Colton was born June 2, 1978, to Annie Mae King Sterling and Andrew Bester in Enterprise, MS. During her youth, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. She received her education from Quitman High School in Quitman, MS. She was employed for many years at Golden living Center, and she loved helping people. She loved to have a good time and loved her family and friends. Mrs. King Colton, age 41, exited her earthly life on friday,June 7, 2019, at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Her mother, Annie Mae King Sterling; her sister, Andrea Black; her mother in law, Georgia Mae Colton; sister in law, Felicia Colton Marshall; maternal grandparents, Sidney King Sr. and Sallie Mae King; preceded her in death. Survivors are: husband, Daniel Colton of Meridian, Mississippi; daughter, Monesha King; sons Jalon King and Artist King; granddaughter Paris King, all of Meridian, Mississippi; fathers, Andrew Bester of Raleigh, Mississippi and Charlie Sterling of Quitman, Mississippi; three siblings -two brothers, Robert King (Allicia) of fort Belvoir, Virginia; Charleston King (Katie) of fayetteville, North Carolina; sister Deatrice Blankenship, of Raleigh, Mississippi; aunts, Maggie King and Earnestine King Talbert; uncles, Melvin King, Bobby Ray King, Sidney King, Eddie King, and John King all of Meridian, Mississippi. Great friends, Jackie Brigges, Cheryl Lewis, Mary Ann Coleman, and Aundria Hinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
