Mrs. Debra Ann Lewis' Obituary
Mrs. Debra Ann Lewis (Deb to most people) was born in Meridian, MS December 19, 1949. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the First Union Baptist Church.
She graduated from TJ Harris High School in 1967. She was the fourth in a family of five girls. She was the one who looked exactly like her mother. Later on, she met and married Vincent A. Lewis Sr. and to this union one son was born. Mrs. Lewis passed the life Monday, September 26, 2016 at Rush Specialty Hospital. She is finally at peace after suffering from long illness. She leaves to cherish her memory: a devoted son, Vincent A. Lewis Jr.; three sisters, Janie M. Matthews, Mable L. Jackson, Sandra (Bryson) Russell; seven nieces, Sharon M. DuBose, whom was like a sister; Lillian Wilson, Ruby Simmons, Angela Clemons, Erika Jackson, Kimberly Hitt, Michelle Russell; one nephew, Raymond Clemons; three sisters in Christ, Maggie Tingle, Margie Hunter and Mary Grady; and a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews, close family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian B. Jackson; her sister, Mrs. Delores Jackson; and a nephew, Mr. Willie J. Clemons.
