Mr. DeMarcus Pruitt's Obituary
DeMarcus Dequn Pruitt (Mark) was born on August 18, 1980, to Charles McMickle and Shirley Pruitt, in Meridian, MS.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He was educated in the Quitman School District, and after which, supported himself with various trades until his health began to fail.
DeMarcus was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. You could see him all over Facebook posting the phrase, "How "bout them Cowboys?", with excitement.
DeMarcus departed this life on May 8, 2024 in the comfort of his home.
He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his stepmother, Tammie McMickle, one sister, Shakerri Pruitt, and one brother, Demetries Pruitt.
His memory will be forever cherished by his mother and father; his son, Jamarcus Pruitt; a stepfather figure, Willie Carter; four sisters, Brenita Pruitt, Pamela McMickle, Veronica Watts, and Kimberly Cooley; four brothers, Derick McMickle, Demetrius(Crystal) McMickle, Sicorian Smith, and Orry Brown; two aunts, Annie Pearl Buxton (whom he loved as a second mother) and Olivia Walker; a great-niece, Paisleigh Pruitt; a brother-in-law, Jeramie Griffith, and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
