Mr. Demetri A. Williams' Obituary
Bro. Demetri Antwone Williams was born to Ronald Williams and Gina Lynn Cole Williams on May 11, 1979 in Clarksville, TN.
Brother Demetri better known as “Bud” was a man who loved life and the joys that life had to offer. He had a love for modern technology, friends, and of course taking selfies, but this took second place to his commitment to God and family.
He captivated social media with his many pictures of the world that surrounded him. He well earned the title of the “Selfie King.” Although he enjoyed friends and associates, he had a deep and overwhelming passion for family. He was a man with very few words at times, but he demonstrated through his pictures, where his heart was.
Demetri was a graduate from Northeast Lauderdale High School and he furthered his education at Meridian Community College in Meridian, MS. He obtained an Associate Degree in Program Computer Information Technology in 2001 and an Associate of Applied Science in Program Computer Network Technology in 2002.
Bud has been a faithful employee at Newell Paper for the past 9 years.
He joined Savannah Grove MBC around the age of 21 and he continued to demonstrate his love for Christ.
Demetri departed this life on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 3:52 a.m. at Jeff Anderson Regional Hospital.
He leaves to cherish his memories; loving parents, Ronald and Gina Williams (Toomsuba, MS); one brother, Walter Cole (Columbus, GA); two grandmothers, Annie Ruth Williams and Laurice Tanksley (Meridian, MS); one nephew, Trent Ward Cole (Meridian, MS) two special aunts, Vanessa Davis and Jerelene Lewis (Meridian, MS) and a host of cousins and friends.
