Mr. Deon LaShane Herlong's Obituary
Deon LaShane Herlong was born June 23, 1983 from the union of Sylvester, Sr. and Gracie Herlong at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. Deon joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church on July 7, 1991 and was a faithful member for 31 years. Deon graduated from Northeast High school in 2001 where he played varsity football. He graduated from Meridian Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Computer Technology in 2004 while working at Quiznos Restaurant. Deon continued his education at The University of West Alabama where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Continuing Education May of 2014 while working at Squealer’s restaurant.
Deon loved his family and friends. He was a very dependable person and took good care of his mom and dad.Deon did not believe in holding grudges against anyone and always had a smile on his face. He would help anyone that he could. Deon was a technology genius and loved shopping online.
