Ms. Diane Thedford's Obituary
Diane Thedford, the daughter of the late Alma Thedford Drinker and Willie Moore, Jr., was born September 12, 1961. Diane was granted her angel wings on October 18, 2019 at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Diane's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Diane graduated.from Northeast High School in 1979 and later attended Touglaoo College, Tougaloo, MS. She accepted Christ as her savior at a young age and joined Tamala United Methodist Church where she loved to sing with her family in the Youth and Adult Choirs. Her interests included spending quality time with family and friends and caring for many kids within the neighborhood. Diane leaves to cherish her memories by her loving daughters: Tanocha Thedford, Memphis, TN, Constance Thedford, Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS, Bianca Thedford, Rust College, Holly Springs, MS and three special daughters: Jackesha (Christopher) Williams, Jackson, MS, Patricia Hill Meridian, MS, Lisa Burns Meridian, MS and two special sons: Marcus Ivy Meridian, MS and Derrick Gordon Meridian, MS. Her sisters: Debra Thedford, Baltimore, MD, Doris Thedford Piper, Charleston, SC, Cynthia Thedford, Charleston, SC, Sylvia (Alex) Hudnall Meridian, MS, Carrie Bell (Richmond) Howze Stateline, MS, Lee Girtha (Louis) Ramey Waynesboro, MS, her brother Charles (Barbara) Drinker Columbia, MS, and niece Simone Brown Fairborn, OH along with a host of cousins and friends.
