Ms. Diann Ezell's Obituary
Ms. Diann Ezell was born on October 20, 1953 to the late Zeolar Ezell and Tom Graham in Lisman, AL.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Shady Grove C.M.E. Church in Cromwell, AL. She later attended Fifth Street Baptist Church in Meridian, MS under the leadership of Bishop W.C. Brown until her health begin to fail.
Diann, affectionately known as Di, was employed at Belk in Meridian, MS for over nine (9) years. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, spending time with family, and most of all, cooking, which was her biggest passion she really loved. To know her is to love her, Her sweet spirit and personality was so contagious, you couldn’t help but to love being around her.
Diann departed this earthly life and moved to her Heavenly home on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her residence in Marion, MS. She was preceded in death by her mother, Zeolar Ezell; her father, Tom Graham; one granddaughter, Aaliyah Graham; two sisters: Virgie Mae Watkins and Tiny Nolan; two brothers: Judge Johnson and Columbus Ezell. She was one of the strongest soldiers we knew who fought many silent battles with no complaints. Therefore, her legacy shall forever live.
Diann leaves to honor her legacy and cherish her memories: one son, Timothy (Veverly) Graham of Meridian, MS; three beautiful daughters: Rita (Tommy) Creer, Francie (Redell) Nash of Meridian, MS and Angela Graham of Marion, MS; three sisters: Mary A. Grant and Clovina (BC) Spears of Cromwell, AL; and Connie (General) Cumbie of Birmingham, AL; one brother, Ernest (Irene) Grant of Birmingham, AL; nine grandchildren: Emmanuel (Nicole) Grant of Meridian, MS; Quendarius Graham of California; Joshua Grant of Meridian, MS; Markaisha Graham of Meridian, MS; Keyonis Walker of Marion, MS; Timia Graham, Ma’Haly Graham, and Dontavious Graham; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
