Mr. Dominic Scott Alexander, II's Obituary
"This body holding me, reminds me of my own mortality. Embrace this moment, remember we are eternal. All of this pain is an illusion."
-Tool
With heavy hearts, the family of Dominic “Nick” Scott Alexander II, 38, share the tragic loss of such a warm and loving soul taken far too soon on February 16,2025. Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gary and Rose Alexander, RJ Alawine, and Ginger and Jean Alawine; as well as his Momma, Cindy Alexander, that he loved and missed so much. Nick leaves behind the love of his life, who he affectionately liked to call “Wenis” , Morgan, and their daughter Ryliegh, father Scott Alexander, Mother-in-law Dekay, sister Erika (Jay) Boykin, nephews Jaycob and his spitting image Chance “Peanut” (Brook) , and his niece Raylee that he was looking forward to prom dress shopping with, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends , and loved ones. As a teenager, Nick taught himself to play the guitar by ear, finding peace in the music. Though he had an amazing talent, other than those close to him, he was very shy about playing in front of people. He built his own gaming computer, that he was extremely proud of, and his face would light up as he described all of the intricate little details he had added himself. Growing up he always loved dogs, but 2 years ago a special little kitty stole his heart, and wrapped him around her tiny little paw. Nick had such a beautiful, kind, warm, and loving soul that words could never express. He showed those around him his love in the smallest ways just to see them smile. Nick loved with his whole heart, and his loss leaves a void in all of our hearts that were lucky enough to be part of his life and loved by him. We take solace in that Dominic left us as he should, a whole man, who loves us, and is now watching over us. Details of a celebration of his life, as well as a special tree planting with his ashes will be announced at a later date.
