Ms. Donna R. Holman-Breaizel's Obituary
Donna Breaizel was born on September 7, 1961 to the late Robert Holman and Bettye Jean Pitts-Holman in Meridian, Mississippi. She attended Meridian Public Schools and was a proud member of the Meridian High School Class of 1979. Donna joined St. James A.M.E. Church at an early age. She was an active member of the Young People's Department, where she participated in all functions such as Sunday School, Youth Choir, Sunday School Conventions, and Educational Congress. As an adult, she served as a member of the Velma Walker Welch Choir, St. James' Mass Choir, and Director of the Young People's Department. Later on in life, God lead her to New Prospect Baptist Church, where she remained a member, until her time of death. Donna worked for the City of Meridian for 27 ½ years, retired, and then returned to work. This gave her a total of 35 years with the City of Meridian. Donna will truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Holman. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Bettye Pitts-Holman, one son, Albert Breaizel, twin daughters, Kia and Lia Breaizel, three grandchildren, Carmen Breaizel, Kimonte' Watson, and Ja'Lea Breaizel, two brothers, Robert Holman (Carrie) and Rodney Holman (LaKeshia), one sister, Michelle Holman, host of aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
