Mrs. Dora Naylor's Obituary
Dora Mae Johnson-Naylor was born to the late Lint Johnson and the late Ella Mae Grifin-Johnson on August 16, 1939. She joined Mt. Cephus Primitive Baptist Church on September 20, 1954. Under the leadership of the late Rev. Calvin Johnson. She completed her schooling at Elizabeth High School in Lauderdale, MS, During her career time she worked at Troy Laundry, Perfections Cleaners, and later retiring from East Mississippi State Hospital after 27 years of service.
Dora united in holy matrimony to William Naylor on January 26, 1963.
Within this union they were blessed with three sons and one daughter.
On February 25, 2024 she made her transition to her heavenly home.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lint and Ella Mae Johnson and three little sisters, Bonnie ]. Roberts, Mattie I. Houston, and Mary Amerson. Five brothers Lint Johnson Jr., Johnny Johnson, Sammy Johnson, Mack H Johnson, and Henry J. Johnson and one granddaughter Nicole O'Field.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband William Naylor of 61 years. Three sons l'ommy (Jessie) V. Johnson of Escondido, CA. Michael
W. Naylor, Johnny R. Naylor and one daughter, Deborah R. Young all of Meridian, MS. Sixteen grandchildren: Stephanie Sanchez, Amir White, Deijour Johnson, Aaquil Johnson and Jaseah Johnson all of CA.
