Ms Doretha Jones Patterson, was born on January 28, 1928 to the Late King and Martha Allen Jones, In Lauderdale County. Doretha the second of five daughters from this union. Preceded her In death were her parents, and three sisters, Clara Bell Meyers, Juanita Griggs Dawson, and Inez Cotton. Doretha join Sunlight Baptist Church at an early age. On Monday October 11, 2021 she received flight to a place of eternal peace at her residence. She united in holy matrimony with the late Louis Patterson, to who no children were born to the union. She was blessed with three children two preceded in death Dorothy Griffin and baby son Jake Jones. Doretha worked In many areas, retiring In the hotel industry. She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter Diane Tolbert, who has cared for her mother the past twelve years. Two grandsons Antonio Griffin (California} Wayne Griffin (Shondra} Gulf Coast. One granddaughter Toni Wiley. (Atlanta Ga) Five great grandsons and One great-granddaughter. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
