Doris Denise Marshall was born on March 13, 1967 to the late Henry and Dorothy Marshall in Meridian, MS. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined New Prospect Baptist Church.
Doris departed this earthly life on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Queen City Nursing Center.
Shewas preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dorothy Marshall; husband: Anthony Ruff and grandson: Novell Marshall.
She leaves to forever cherish her memory her only son: Michael Marshall (Nafisa); five grandchildren: Kristianna Marshall, Serderrick Marshall, Noah Clayton, Naimah Lumpkin and Nehemiah Lumpkin; five siblings: Michael Burage (Donna) of Meridian, MS, John Marshall (Laura) of Stone Mountain, GA, Sabrina Hodges (Willie) of Belguim, WL Selena Edmonds (Jerry) of Collinsville, MS, and Cynthia Smith (Willie) of Meridian, MS; and two special nieces: Jacquite Payne and Emily Lewis. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
