On October 21, 1957 "Dorothy Jean Jackson" was born to the late Nora Earl and Rosie Jackson. Dorothy is the wife of Elder Tommy Gibbs and the Mother of one son, Minister Arkeem Johnson. Dorothy was also the First Lady of New Covenant Church, where she served faithfully beside her husband Pastor, Elder Tommy Gibbs until God called her home on Monday, November 15, 2021. Dorothy Gibbs leaves cherished memories to her loving family, Elder Tommy Gibbs, her husband of Lauderdale, MS; one son, Arkeem Johnson of Meridian, MS; Two sisters, Jerry (James) Hunter of Lauderdale, MS; Elizabeth (Earnest) Jackson of Jackson, MS; Two brothers, Robert (Joyce) Jackson and James Jackson, both of Lauderdale, MS; 19 nieces and nephews, a host of great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nora Earl and Rosie Lee Jackson; a sister, Willie Mae Boyd and brother, Jessie Jackson.
