Mrs. Dorothy Mae Harrison's Obituary
Dorothy Mae (Russell) Harrison was born January 21, 1932 to the late Mary Bethea and Silas Russell. At 11:22 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Rush Foundation Hospital with family at her bedside the journey of life ended with that same one heartbeat from whence it began. Mrs. Harrison confessed to christ at an early age and joined Shiloh Baptist Church, Quitman MS, and later united with Bethel Baptist Church, Enterprise MS where she was a faithful and dedicated member until her health began to fail. She loved her family, her church family, friends and community. She united in marriage to the late Robert Loper Sr. to this union four children were born. She later married the late Jack Harrison Sr. and to this union Five children were born. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Bethea, her father Silas Russell, ·three daughters Mary Jones, Annie Price and Kathy Carter. Her precious memories will eternally linger in the hearts of: One loving and devoted daughter Katie Harrison Scott of Stonewall, MS Five loving sons, Billy Joe Lope~. and Jerome Harrison of Biloxi, MS Robert (Lillie) Loper and Ronnie Harrison of Quitman, MS and Jack Harrison Jr. of Stonewall, MS. Twenty-Eight Grandchildren, Forty-Six Great Grandchildren and Seven Great Great Grandchildren, One Special Cousin Geneva Johnson a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
