Mrs. Dorothy Ree McCory's Obituary
Dorothy Ree McCory was born August 3, 1954 to the late Ernest Johnson and Queen Esther Johnson. She departed this life on November 23, 2018. She was married to Glenn McCory and was blessed in this union with seven children.
Mrs. McCory was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Queen Ester Johnson, as well as one brother, Ernest "Sonny" Johnson and one sister Lillian Johnson.
Mrs. McCory leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Glen McCory; four sons Kenny, Glen Jr. , Justin and Josh (Brenda) McCory all of Meridian, MS; three daughters Anquenetta Scott, Angela and Anita McCory all of Meridian, MS; Seven sisters Ethel (Lelo) Brown, Andy Carter, Lucille Cotton, Louise Cater, Sarah Johnson, Bertha (William) Hollins, all of Kemper and Bernie Edwards of Little Rock, AK. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, Ailitia, Tychairia, Tycession, and Inyizia Scott, Adrianna, Aliana, Ariel, Alia, and Elijah McCory, Acacia Burton, Akierra McCory, Alex McCory, Dymon McCory, Randy Hardy, Jr., LaQuindez McCory, JaBrycen Dean and Semaj Dean and one great grandchild Elijah Horne and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
