Douglas Wayne Anderson was born December 29, 1956 to the late William and Annie Anderson Sr. in Meridian, Mississippi. He confessed his life to Christ at a later age and joined El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. Douglas Anderson departed this life on July 6, 2016 in Meridian, MS. He was employed for numerous years by Southern Cast and Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS.
Douglas Anderson leaves to cherish his memories: four children: Sonya Cole of Meridian, MS, Anthony (Sandra) Anderson of Gautier, MS, Altamisha (Carleon) Matthew of Oklahoma City, OK and Tyler Anderson of Meridian, MS; fifteen siblings: Roosevelt Anderson, Annie Kelly, Glenda (Harvey) Tryals, Sandra (Albert) Anderson-Hopson, Jerome (Beverly) Anderson, Jeffery (Mary) Anderson, Keith Alford, Econdra Johnson, Tony (Angela) Johnson, William (Mandy) Brewster, Ilee Brewster, Virginia Brewster, Mary Reed, Loretta Brewster, Dorothy (Lindell) Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents William & Annie Anderson Sr. and three brothers, William, Jr., Charles and Jerry Anderson.
