Mr. Edd Bloxson's Obituary
Edd Bloxson was born September 30, 1942 in Crandall, MS to the late Rebecca Bloxson and Rainey Bloxson.
He graduated from Quitman High School, shortly after he attended trucking school.
Edd was employed as a truck driver for 45 years with companies such as Olen Burrage, Hardin Bakery and Case to name a few.
He entered into eternity on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Neshia county General Hospital in Philadelphia, MS surrounded by family. He accepted Christ at an early age where he attended Zion Chapel Baptist Church where he served as superintendent of Sunday school in his younger years. He joined Mount Zion Baptist Church later in life.
he leaves to cherish his memories his wife Martha Bloxson of Meridian, MS; three sons, Charles Bloxson, of Ohio, Eddie Bloxson Jr. (Brook) of McDonough, GA, Eric Bloxson Sr. (Erica) of Meridian, MS; two sisters, Michelle Bloxson of Atlanta, GA and Lorenza M. Bloxson of Youngstown, Ohio; one sister, Mary Alice Northington of Halifax, North Carolina; one brother, Luke Bloxson of Quitman, MS; seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
he is preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Bloxson and father, Rainey Bloxson; two brothers, Johnny Mack Bloxson and Raymond Bloxson; one sister, Judy Lee Jones; his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
