Mr. Eddie J. Scott's Obituary
On February 25, 1949, to the union of the late Earnest and Iola Scott was born a son Eddie J. Scott in Boligee, AL. This is where Eddie was raised for a while but later completed his high school education with the Meridian Public School District. Elder Eddie Scott served as a 11 Bravo Infantry Grena-dier at the rank of Private from December 19, 1968 until December 18, 197 4. He also served in the Vietnam War and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vi-etnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Com-bat Infantry Badge, M-16 Marksman, and 2 Overseas Bars. Elder Eddie Scott was released with an honorable discharge. He was united in Holy matrimony to Sis. Shirley Gordon onJune 27, 1998. Elder Eddie Scott was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost at First Apostolic Church of West Meridian. He chose to make FAC his church home where he was an active member until his transition.
