Mrs. Edna Clark's Obituary
Mrs. Edna Clark was born to Mose Darden Sr. and Elma Parker- Darden on December 18, 1920 in Lauderdale County. She was the youngest daughter and is the last of the siblings. Mrs. Edna Clark was united in marriage to the late J.T. Clark and to this union, seven children were born. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Bailey, MS. She was a faithful member of the choir and remained a faithful em member of the church until her health failed. On Monday evening, July 25, 2016, God called Mrs. Edna Clark home at Jefferson Anderson Regional Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband,
J.T. Clark, one son, Ervin D. Clark, her parents, Mose and Elma Darden, seven brothers- Aaron, Zeno, Sylvester, D.L., Mose and Arthur Darden; three sisters- Odie Barnett, Laura Ann Griffin and Velma Burrage.
Mrs. Edna leaves to cherish her loving memories to six children: (3) sons- Bobby Ray )Clara Ann) Clark of Meridian, MS, Gene A. (Velma) Clark of St. Louis, MO and Lee E. Clark of Bailey, MS; (3) daughters- Mattie P. Clark and Virginia A. Clark, both of St. Louis, MO and Claudia (James) Smith of Bailey, Ms; (11) grandchildren, (14) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
