Edna Houston McClinton was born September 2. 1961 lo lhe late Georgia Mae Houston and the late Walter Houston in New Hope, Kemper County, Mississippi. Edna confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior as a child and believed that there was no1hing too hard for God. In her adult lire, Edna met and married Abraham McClinton, and was blessed with over 20 years of marriage and she was blessed with one daughter and two grand-daughters. On April 5, 2016, gave up this Earthly journey and answered the Lord's call for eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Carolyn Houston; her Parents; 3 brothers: Walter Lee, Albert and Gary; Houston and 1 sister: Polly Ann Houston. Edna leaves to cherish her memories forever, her husband: Abraham McClinton;2 granddaughter: Taylia and Christanna Hill, all of Meridian, MS; her sibling: Henry (Betty) Houston and Evirl Houston or Meridian, MS; Joseph Houston of DeKALB, MS; Perry Houston, Edward Houston and Linda Faye (Kenneth) Meredith of Syracuse, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, neighbors and friends
