Mr. Edward Eugene Trussell's Obituary
Mr. Edward Eugene Trussell was born on June 17, 1940, to Ernest and Callie Trussell. He joined Pine Grove Baptist Church in Bailey, MS, at an early age. Mr. Trussell, often called "Gene," attended and graduated from Bailey Vocational School. He was united in marriage to Miss Lula Hurd. To this union, one child was born Terrance D. Trussell. Mr. Trussell retired from AP AC and spent his latter years in his hometown of Bailey. He enjoyed working around his home and serving in his church -Pine Grove. Mr. Trussell served in many capacities within his church; he was a dedicated deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and in charge of the Pine Grove Cemetery. From being the candy man to latching the entrance gate to Pine Grove, Deacon Trussell was well-respected and greatly admired. Mr. Edward Eugene Trussell departed this earthly life on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted son -Terrance D. Trussell, grandson -Terrance E. Trussell, granddaughter -Layla England, and greatgrandson -Terrance "Khai" Trussell of Gautier, MS; siblings -Thomas (Tom) Trussell of Los Angeles, CA and Annie Aikens of Bailey, MS; and a special friend Lula Trussell of Gautier, MS. Mr. Trussell was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers -Clarence, Ernest, Jr., and Odell Trussell. Mr. Edward Trussell was a very upright man that loved God and Pine Grove; he took pride in all of his endeavors. He will be missed tremendously by his immediate family, relatives, church family, and friends.
