Mr. Elisha "Butch" Fitzgerald Bush's Obituary
Elisha served in the United States Army and fought in World War II. He recieved a Victory metal along with Honorable Discharge on December 29, 1945. He served as a Motor Transport Operator during this time. After being discharged from the military Elisha began working at Soule Steam Feed Works for twelve years as a devoted service man. This was his joy and passion where he received numerous plaques for his dedication and hard work. Elisha Bush began his life journey on May 9, 1923 in Meridian, MS. He departed this world on September 1, 2013. Elisha Bush was married to Mary Alice Perry on May 4, 1946. To this union two daughters were born, Evelyn and Mary Ann. Elisha leaves to cherish his mermories: two daughters, Evelyn F. Bender and Mary A. Bush(Micheal} of Meridian, MS; two sons, Elisha Phillips(Belva) of California, and Anthony Collins of Meridian MS; nine grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and family and friends. Elisha was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford and Evelyn Bush; his wife, Mary Alice Bush; brothers, Joe, Ben, and Sylvester; sisters Essie and Luvenia.
