Ms. Elizabeth Burton's Obituary
Elizabeth Burton was born on January 29, 1950, in Meridian, MS to the late Christine Burton where she was the oldest child of seven. She was a mother of 4, a loving grandmother of 12, and great grandmother to 13 children. She was a lady of wisdom with a great sense of humor who enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and helping her family in need. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her mother Christine Burton, sister Joanne Johnson, a brother Ray Charles Burton, a nephew Tim Burton, and a great grandson Aden D. Bell. She departed this life peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at home on Saturday October 8, 2022. Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memories four daughters Felicia Ann Burton (Meridian, MS) Nicky Denise Mobley (Meridian, MS), Barbara Townsend (Meridian, MS) and Mary Elizabeth Burton (Lexington, NC), 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members. She will be missed, she is forever loved, and will always be with us in spirit.
