Mrs. Elizabeth McWilliams' Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Mc Williams was born February 2, 1924 to Leo Clark and Abby Clark-Payton in the Kemper County area. She married Ernest Mc Williams in March 1939 and to that union were born ten children: Earline, Jamie, Sarah, Lanie, Helen, Ernest, Faye, Lorene, Jerry, Mary M.(stillborn). Mrs. Mc Williams worked for rnany years with the Meridian Public Schools in Custodial Services. She was a member of Hopewell Methodist Church and later joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church currently under the leadership of Reverenµ Robert Hopson. , She was a believer in Christ, a Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Cousin who always opened her horne to family and friends. She had a strong work ethic and lived her life to the very best of her ability according to the Word of God. She is preceded in death by family rnernbers, Mr. Ernest McWilliams (Husband), Earline Hunter (Daughter), Mary M. McWilliams (Daughter), Jamie McWilliams (Son), Bertha Ward (Sister), Leslie Calvin Cole (Brother), Willie Roy (Brother), Reverend James D. Clark (Brother), Willie Clark (Brother), Annie Mae Lewis (Sister), Ulysses Kelly (Son-in-Law), Willie Bolden (Son-in-Law), Phillip Laster (Son-in-Law), Robert Ormond (Son-in-Law), George McDonald (Son-in-Law) and Tirnrny White (Grandson). She was loved by many and her presence will be greatly missed in the lives of her family, friends and community. She leaves on this earth 8 children to mourn her passing: Lanie Bolden, Sarah Kelly-Wilcox (Jirnrny), Helen McDonald (Torn), Lorene Ormond, Faye Laster, Jerry Mc Williams (Toni), Ernest E. Mc Williams and Jessie McDonald. GrandChildren: Felicia Brookins, Julie Wallace, Evette Barfield, David Bolden, Tony Kimble, Devitta Kelly, Melissa Cull urn, Rekettia Laster, Derek Laster, Shonda Laster, Sarah Ann Mc Williams, Alexis Mc Williams, Erika McWilliams, Jamie McWilliarns, Johnathan Mc Williams, Darryl White, James Earl and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her spiritual daughters: Mary D. McQuarley, Tarnrny Dale, Tonia Bolden, Dorothy Autman, Jean Henderson, Josephine Hunt, Varradell Brassfield, Mary Jean Moore, Esther Ree Stephens and Maybea F. Spiritual sons: Jessie Hunt, Johnny Redeemer, and Michael Barfield, all whorn loved her dearly. She endured rnany things, learned rnany things, shared many things and saw rnany things but the rnost important thing in her life was Jesus Christ. She was allowed to share her life, gifts, talents, strength and wisdom among the family and friends that God gave her until she could no longer speak into their lives, but her fight till the end showed us all that God is in control and when he says so he will bring you horne. He gave her a 90-year pilgrimage on this earth and then he called her into his perfect rest and his Omnipotent presence.
