Ms. Elsie Walker's Obituary
Ms. Elsie Walker was born October 10, 1933 in Marion, Mississippi to the late Judge and Luberta Walker.
She joined the St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Marion, Mississippi at an early age and served there faithfully until her health failed. She made the transition to her heavenly home on a beautiful Sunday morning September 18, 2016. Ms. Walker was a kind, gentle and loving person who met no strangers.
She was preceded in death by 4 sisters Margaret Collier, Leanna Warren, Mary Jane Baylor and Maebelle McDonald and 1 brother Lawrence Walker.
There will be fond memories of Elsie by her daughter Brenda Walker (Reginald) of Meridian, MS; 1 granddaughter Whitney Walker Williams (Kodi) of Meridian, MS; 2 grandsons Oriona Walker and Dominick Walker both of Meridian, MS; 1 great granddaughter Kayla Walker and 1 great grandson Tulane Walker both of Meridian, MS; 3 loving sisters Willie Mae Collier and Lessie walker both of Meridian, MS and Florence Gray of Chicago, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
