Emma Ruth Brown; transitioned to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father on April 20, 2025. Emma Ruth was born to the late Mary Ellen Williams and Robert Moore in Meridian, MS. on January 12, 1943. She was proceeded in death by her Son: Gary
E. Williams: her parents: Mary E. Williams and Robert Moore, her maternal grandparents: Agusta Williams and Cecil Williams, two sisters: Johnnie Taylor and Jessie Gordon, three brothers: Leslie, James, Harold, & Floyd.
Emma's childhood memories began growing up at Sunlight Baptist Church where she confessed her life to Christ at an early age.
Emma Ruth attended the Meridian Public School District.
After becoming a young women she united in Holy Matrimony to Sylvester Brown Jr. and to this union two children were born.
Emma Ruth and her family moved to Fairfield California where she was employed with North Bay Hospital in the Environmental Service Department, which she retired from.
Emma Ruth Moved back home to Meridian in 2022 where she reunited with Sunlight Baptist. Emma Ruth loved Shopping and playing Bingo.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, A loving son: Sylvester Brown III, Fairfield CA., a loving daughter Nickysia Pedraza, Fairfield CA., twelve grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister: Linda A.
Hosley, San Diego CA., one brother: Willie Williams, Meridian, MS., a God Daughter: Diane Moore, Texarkana TX., a special niece: Zina Brown, Meridian MS., seven nieces, five nephews and a host of great-grand nieces, great grand nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
