Sending my prayers and condolences to Eris’ family. I met Eris during my employment with Berry and Gardner Funeral Homes. She was definitely a part of the “family.” She will be truly missed.

DEAR ERIS WAS SUCH A LOVING PERSON...I KNEW HER FROM THE TIME I SAW HER SINGING IN THE HARRIS HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR FESTIVAL...I WENT TO THE CONCERT WITH MY BIG SISTER ,LOIS MITCHELL...I WAS IN THE 7TH GRADE...BUT I NEVER FORGOT THAT CHOIR...UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MRS.THOMPSON AND LATER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MR FLOYD HEARNS...ERIS CONTINUED TO WOW IN CHURCH CHOIRS...ESPECIALLY HER BELOVED ,ST.PAUL...THROUGH THE YEARS ERIS WAS ABOUT SERVICE ...MAY HER WORKS GO BEFORE HER....MAY SHE SING AND PRAISE IN THE HALLELUJAH CHOIR...WE STARTED A "HANKIE"
MINISTRY...FOR FAMILIES THAT WANTED THAT "SPECIAL"ACCESSORY..AT HOMEGOINGS ...WEDDINGS..ETC.
WHEN SHE WOULD CALLWITH A REQUEST...I WOULD CALL LOCALSEAMTRESS WITH HER INSTRUCTIONS... WHITE WITH LACE TRIM..NOT TO LARGE..DAINTY AND ELEGANT
THE LAST CALL CAME IN MAY,2022...MARY..SHE SAID I WANT ONE ALSO,DAINTY AND ELEGANT.
