Mr. Ernest Lee Price, Jr.'s Obituary
Ernest Lee Price, Jr., died unexpectedly Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian ' Mississippi, following a period of illness and declining health. Ernest was a long-term permanent resident of the Lakeside Living Center, Quitman, Mississippi. Given by the Lord as the only child of Ms. Tencie Lee McMillian and Mr. Ernest Lee Price, Sr., Ernest was born in Jasper County Mississippi on November 26, 1941. The span of his earthly pilgrimage was a glorious 73 years. We rejoice in knowing that he has passed the barrier of time and is forever at peace with our Lord. Ernest attended school in Jasper County, Mississippi, and later worked for the nationally renowned industrial fabric manufacturer, Burlington Industries, located in Stonewall, Mississippi, for more than 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, attending team sporting events, and was captivated by the heroics of the American Television Western on the big screen. Preceded in death by his father, Ernest Lee Price, Sr., and his mother, Tencie Lee McMillian, Ernest is survived by his daughter, Elaine Price, of Enterprise, Mississippi, as well as, a host of cousins and close friends. At the election of Cremation, the Price family will scatter the remains of our dearly departed Ernest during a private ceremony in an undisclosed location at a future date.
