Mrs. Eron Pauline Jeanette Grady's Obituary
Eron Pauline J. Nettles Grady was born on November 12, 1935 to the late James Legirda "Son" Nettles and Cynthia Trussell Nettles in Whynot, Mississippi. She was the baby of six children. She found Christ at a early age and joined New Salem Baptist Church in Whynot, Mississippi. Educated in the public school system, she graduated from Stevenson High School in Toomsuba, Mississippi. Pauline was married to the late Milton Grady and to this union nine (9) children were born. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one (1) sister; Katherine Brewster, four (4) brothers; Kreston Nettles, Reverend James T. Nettles, Bobby Ray Nettles and Clarence Lee Nettles. She worked in many fields: Substitute Teacher, Certified Nurse Assistant, Beautician, 1st New Hope Women's District Convention, Choir director being the first one to form a choir at New Salem Baptist Church. She was a very active member and spoke at various churches. She worked with the Convention Moderator till her health failed, but always studying, preaching and standing on God's words. She departed this life on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 5:05 a.m. at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She leaves to cherish and carry out her loving memories: nine (9) children; James W. (Dorothy) Grady, Joe W. (Georgia) Grady both of Meridian, MS, Jacqueline G. Larkin of Toomsuba, MS, Juanita Grady-Lewis of Birmingham, AL, Kreston Grady, Milton Grady, Giovonni (the late Robert) Jenkins , Derrelle LaShawn Grady all of Meridian, MS, and Cynthia B. Grady of Toomsuba, MS; three (3) step-children; Edna G. Hunt and Marvin Grady both of Philadelphia, MS and Betty Jean Phillips of Springfield MA; one (1) sister-in-law, Lena Nettles of Rock Island, IL; A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved her dearly.
