Mrs. Estola Clay's Obituary
Mrs. Estola "Faye" Hall Clay one of the 10 children born November 3, 1948 to Mr. Charlie Hall Sr. and Mrs. Ora D. Hearn Hall. Estola or Faye as we call her attended school in the city of Meridian and was a graduate of T. J. Harris High School Class of 1967. She also attended Meridian Junior College where she persuaded a degree in childhood development. Faye worked in the Lauderdale County School System until she retired. At an early age she united with Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the usher board, BTU, and she sung in the choir. Faye met the man of her dream Mr. Robert Clay Jr. They were married in the year of 1968 to this union were 3 beautiful children. God saw fit to call her husband home February 27, 1970. God gave us one of his best flowers; A loving wife, Mother, Grand and Great -grand mother, Sister and a friend. God allowed this flower to grow and grow until he decided to pick this one. God only takes the best. He saw that she had labored and need to rest. A well-known person in her community and another mother for the children she came in contact with in the neighborhood because of her soft heart and the love she had for others. A sweet person she was. She departed this life on March 9, 2019 at UAB Hospital Birmingham, AL. She were preceded in death by her father Charlie Hall Sr., husband-Robert Clay Jr., a sister Jackie Hall Darrell, two brothers Charlie (Gator) Hall and Booker T. Hall, a sister-n-law Minnie Hall. She leaves to cherished her precious memories her loving mother Mrs. Ora D. Hall,; A daughter Tiari (Kenny) Clay Williams; Two sons; Reginald (Demetris) Clay & Marc Clay; 8 grandchildren; Kewanna Irby, Osha Clay, TeAshley Taylor, Jaquari~s Clay and Keith Austin Jr. all of Meridian Albrey and TiKedra Clay of Atlanta, GA. 11 great-grandchildren; Four Sisters; Sandra Roberts San Antonia, TX; Cathy Hall, Carol Hall, and Susan (Larry) Hardaway Meridian, MS; Two Brothers; Larry Hall Meridian, MS and Willie (Dick) Hall Minneapolis, MN; A sister-n-law Jacquelyn Clay-Leggett, Two brothers -n-laws Grady Darrell, Minneapolis, MN and Tommie Ray Clay. A sweet and lovely friend Mrs. Vivian Allen, a significant other Greg Payne. Two sisters from another mother Linda (Cookie) Guise Jackson, MS and Renea Frais Toledo, Ohio. A God-daughter she loved very dearly Katina Thomas, another one is Robin Chaney. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
