Mrs. Hersey was such a sweet lady. We (Joyce Fox & Patricia Black), came to know her during the 1st New Hope Baptist Conventions. She didn’t meet a stranger. She always made sure my aunt and myself always had a piece of her homemade pound cake.❤️ She will be sorely missed but will always be in our hearts.
