Mr. Eunice Price, Sr.'s Obituary
Brother Eunice Price, Sr. was born on March 20, 1916, in Meehan to the union of Robert Price and Florence (Simpson) Price. He received limited formality education due to the necessity of having to help support the family. He accepted Christ at a young age and joined the Zion Hill Missionary Church where he remained a member until his health failed. He was a member of Twin Town Lodge #70. Bro Price was united in holy matrimony with Dena Mae Ford on December 30, 1939 and was married for 44 years until her passing. The union was blessed with a son and a daughter. He was employed by Southern Railroad until he became disabled. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching baseball games from his truck during his leisure time. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three sisters: Gertrude Price, Barbara Williams, and Georgia Hall; and a brother, Ernest Price. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Eunice James (Domece) Price of Enterprise; his daughter Beatrice (Chalmers) Windham of Heidelberg; his grand children: Oteria Mack Pearson of Memphis. TN; Cardale (Jerry) Price of Boling Brook, IL; Denita (Philip) Trotter of Seattle, WA; Tremayne Price and Sonya Cobbs of Racine, WI; Brian Thompson of Chicago, IL; Latoya Thompson of Hammond, IN; Domice Windham of Memphis TN; and Dwayne Windham and Yolanda Windham of Racine, WI; eleven (11) great grandchildren; two (2) great, great grandchildren; a brother, Oscar (Emma) Price of Merriville, IN; a brother-in-law, Sam Ford of Enterprise; and a host of nephews and cousins.
