Mr. Everette Nolan Hicks' Obituary
Everette was born March 5, 1979, in Millington, Tennessee to Mr. Alvis and Mrs. Everlean Hicks. Everette attended Mare Isl. Elementary and Elisa Widenmann Elementary, Solano Junior and High School in Vallejo, California. He was a graduate of Vallejo High School's Class of 1997. Everette attended California State University in Chico, Ca. While at the university, he was selected to participate in the foreign exchange program. His focus was international study with a major in Spanish. Everette's knowledge, skills and command of English and Spanish languages allowed him to travel freely throughout the United States, Mexico, Spain, Chile, Costa Rica, Germany and England. Everette attended Union Baptist Church as a child participating in the Youth Choir and other activities. As an adult, he attended Fairfield Community 7th Day Adventist Church and City Church in Fairfield, Ca. He worked for Girls Scout of America providing community outreach and fundraising in Napa and Solano counties; Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network providing job placement/ training and community services; Solano County, Solano, CA; community outreach for the special needs community; John Hopkins University as a summer youth program coordinator and the United States Army serving as a summer youth program coordinator in Heidelberg, Germany.
