Mr. Excel O. Hart's Obituary
Excel 0.1 Hart was born in Meridian, MS. to Willie and Beatrice Hart on June 28, 1922. He was educated in Meridian and in St Louis, MO. school district. He served in the United States Army for 22 years and fought in Korean and Vietnam Conflict. He received many awards for his service. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Great Canaan Baptist Church of Chicago, Ill and upon his returned to Mississippi in 2008 he joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Rev. Zachary Operton. In 1962 he married Ora V. Sewell who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sibling Mattie Lee, Edward, Marion, Cleo, Leo and Willie Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory a sister Mae C. Hart Meridian, a daughter Sandra Wells of Seattle, Washington, Two adopted children China and Baron Hart of Meridian, who he loved dearly and a step-daughter Jamie (Ike) Caldwell of Chicago, IL.
